A Year of Growth and Glow

The year 2023 danced across the calendar of Sai Krushna Charitable Trust like a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of learning, laughter, and the indomitable spirit of growth. It was a year where classrooms buzzed with the hum of knowledge, Saturdays transformed into arenas of dedication, and hearts brimmed with the joy of shared celebration.

Teachers, the architects of young minds, honed their skills in training programs, their minds ablaze with new tools and techniques. For weaker students, the path to literacy shimmered brighter with dedicated reading initiatives, each word a stepping stone towards confidence. Saturdays saw volunteers, the unsung heroes of the Trust, stepping into the role of mentors, their time and hearts a bridge between academics and dreams. Special coaching was given to help ex-students with their PU and college curriculum.

The gentle hum of “Om” reverberated through Sai Krushna Vidya Mandir every Saturday, guiding students on the path of self-discovery through yoga classes. With each pose, each breath, they built a foundation of fitness and mindfulness, learning to navigate the world with both strength and serenity.

From olympiads to inter-school battles, the students competed with spirit and grew in confidence and knowledge. Similarly, every festival was celebrated with zeal. But amidst the celebrations of Independence Day, Teacher’s Day, and Janmashtami, a quiet revolution was brewing. The brick and mortar of the skill development centre rose, a beacon of hope for equipping young minds with practical skills for the future. Inside, the hum of computers heralds the dawn of a digital age, while classrooms transformed into interactive canvases with the magic of smart boards.

Two significant events marked the closing weeks, filled with both spiritual devotion and a spirit of service. The occasion of Bhagawan Baba’s birthday was commemorated with a grand Ganapathi homama and Sudarshana homam performed by the esteemed Veda Srinivasan Sir. This  ritual sought Swami’s divine blessings and guidance for the Trust’s future endeavors. Over 70 staff and volunteer families gathered to participate in this auspicious ceremony.

The year closed with a much-needed eye-camp conducted by Dr. Laxmikant at Sai Krishna Arogya Dham. This initiative provided students and their relatives with the opportunity to receive comprehensive eye checkups. For those diagnosed with refractive errors, the gift of clear vision was bestowed upon them through free eyeglasses, ensuring they can start the new year with enhanced focus and learning potential.

As 2024 dawns, new faculty development programs await, ensuring teachers stay at the forefront of education. The Trust stands ready to support students as they conquer the upcoming board exams.

The year 2023 was a testament to the collective spirit of the Sai Krushna Charitable Trust. It was a year where seeds of knowledge were sown, nurturing dreams unfurled, and lives blossomed under the warm sun of dedication. As we step into the new year, our hearts swell with gratitude for your continued support. Together, let us continue to weave this beautiful tapestry of growth and hope, one thread at a time, one life at a time.
