CHAPTER 07 AND 08 : ANJANEYAR LOOKS AT PUSHPAKA VIMANA
Anjaneyar saw a huge plane standing. It really looked like a very big bird adorned with precious stones. It was broad and was very spacious. Flowering plants covered it all around making it a sight to behold. The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of the flowers. While constructing the plane, precious stones were embedded in the metal making the plan strong and sturdy.
The machine stood in mid air, without touching the ground. It was designed in such a way that the driver’s thoughts controlled it completely. It could fly extremely fast and in all directions. Devas were the ones who owned such vehicles which were built by none other than the architect of the Gods, Vishwakarma. Pushpaka Vimana was Vishwakarma’s greatest invention, which he had built for Kubera. But after a fight, his half brother Ravana, usurped it. On the inside it was so spacious that it had an entire city along with gardens. Anjaneyar was stunned to see something as marvelous as this. Lanka seemed like the very home of Mahalakshmi, but Hanuman could not locate the very avatar of Mahalakshmi, Sita.
