October saw several new activities undertaken by the volunteers and students. Offline school was in full swing. The National Housing Bank conducted a drawing competition for the Students of class 8 to 10 of Sai Krushna Mandir. The topic for the event was Anti corruption. This was an amazing platform for the students to showcase their talent as each one of them came up with very creative posters on the topic. They also won various prizes.
Dr. Sundareshan conducted a health awareness program about alcohol de – addiction for the parents of our school .He spoke about the problems associated with alcohol addicting and how families get destroyed by this vicious habit. He informed the villagers regarding the de-addiction programme for alcoholics and how they should address this menace.

A team of volunteers including Suja, Gokul, Sathya, Shridivya and Venkat, as part of their weekend seva, helped to set up the Science lab in school. Another volunteer Mr Shankar repaired the old furniture in school and also trained some students to do the same.
Diwali was celebrated amidst light and festivity. Some of our teachers joined for the celebrations along with the skm boys.
Student of class 6th, are learning science through hands-on activities and simple experiments at Prayoga Institute of Education Research. A collaborative initiative between SKVM and Prayoga to transform passive learning of science into an experiential learning. Small groups of 5-6 students work together to do simple experiments like constructing a robotic hand using simple things like straws and craft paper. They all get individual hands-on experience working with weighing scales to understand measurements, are asked to read stories and watch cartoon videos to understand science concepts better and easily.
Every session is accompanied by worksheets to further supplement the practical activities they do in the labs. Designated teachers ensure students are made to think over a problem and thus cultivate creative thinking in each students
